To Lake Atitlan by Shuttle and Bus
Direct shuttles leave at 2 PM from Antigua for San Pedro or San Marcos and arrive around 5:30 Occasional construction delays on the Inter-American Highway can extend the trip by a half-hour. Another way to get to San Pedro is a 9 AM shuttle to Panajachel and a boat to San Pedro. This way you arrive by 2 PM and you lose less time in transit.
From San Pedro to Antigua, the direct vans and mini-bus depart at 9 AM and are better options than crossing the lake to Panajachel and catching the shuttle there.
