Loch Ness Monster at the Lake?

“It was coming right at me!” said Moe Wright, a tourist who witnessed the apparent appearance of a Loch Ness-type monster in Lake Atitlan last night.

Wright was on a Full Moon Kayak Tour that was just leaving the cove in San Pedro, when the 100-foot long creature surfaced directly in front of a dozen brightly colored kayaks.

The monster had been sighted last Tuesday from the Alegre Pub and El Barrio Bar. But because thats Q3 Cuba Libre night at Alegre and Tequila Tuesdays at Barrio, those reports were dismissed as mass hallucinations.

The creature quickly turned to avoid crashing into the kayaks and was last seen headed for Santa Cruz. Visitors, residents and everyone stuck here because of the vortex are urged to report any sighting of the creature to the nearest bartender.
