Restaurante Jarachik

The sunny garden location midway along the trail in San Pedro makes Jarachik a convenient place for a drink a meal at a shaded booth or table lined with bamboo.

Jarachik means dreams in Tz'utujil Maya. The ambiance reflects the name: the restaurant is decorated with a subdued Mayan motif, while dream catchers and god's eyes hang from the ceiling.

International Menu

Jarachik's extensive menu is highlighted by entrees such as the savory chicken stuffed with cheese, basil and olives.

You will also find tagliatelle pesto, mango curry, the popular beef medallions with soy balsamic butter, as well as French and Mexican specialties.

The huge 'wake up burrito' and French toast are among several popular breakfast options. Coffee drinkers will like the bottomless cup of local coffee for Q8.

With a world-class mojito, a good beer selection and unobtrusive music, Jarachik's bar is a popular night spot. Some of San Pedro's legendary full moon parties take place at Jarachik.

In addition to daily food and drink specials, happy hour runs from 4-6 PM and after 9 PM.

Jarachik's top cooks moved to a new restaurant in March, El Paraiso, so many of the same dishes at Jarachick taste even better at el Paraiso.
