Lake Atitlan's many towns offer intriguing and unusual day trips around the lake. Panajachel, San Pedro, San Marcos, Solola, Santa Cruz, Santiago and San Juan each has its own personality and charm.

The San Marco Day Trip story originally appeared in the May, 2008, issue of Atitlan Sol. It has been expanded and will be updated in January 2012. The Santiago Day Trip story ran in September, 2009. The San Juan story appeared in the June, 2009 issue.
